Often it’s what you don’t do that counts.

Some people do great things with their own-name blogs; Steve Pavlina writes the World’s best Personal Development blog and of course there’s Seths Blog.

The trouble is I’m just not feeling it here.

If you’d read the sixty – odd posts (included those pre-meltdown of this blog) you would, with similar determination, have been in a similar position to myself, which is working for yourself one to two hours per week to maintain a moderate semi-passive income which pays all your basic living expenses and allows you the time freedom to be there when people you love get seriously ill, as my own Fiance did. Priceless.

Maybe I don’t earn an Earth – shattering amount, but I have a lot of Time Out to appreciate Life and stay almost stress-free, incomparable to the majority. And with a few hours more per week focused on the right actions that time/income increases.

Which is why I’m thanking all my readers and saying goodbye to adambeckett.com

I’d rather focus on Bootstrap Cafe, my other blog that’s been quietly kicking apathetic ass in a Countercultural way.

This is my new hub for innovative thinking/doing/Lifestyle where Things of Consequence happen. In particular;

  • InterferenceOs –  ”Interference is a new meetup for anyone involved or interested in the Digital Economy & Arts. Come together, be interested, be interesting, be disruptive!” courtesy of Rollinson, Co Creator
  • I’d like to see my Home Town of Oswestry, England embrace Digital Culture to create a local Economy Boom as a model for all innovative small town culture
  • Bootstrap Cafe is my virtual hub for other more niche-focused projects including B2BMuscle.com (business performance optimization for business to business consultants) which combines my interest in Four Hour Body fitness with my experience as a self – employed Consultant ( I work in a Commercial Energy niche market) and Viral Marketing as per Viperchill
  • The Bootstrap Back Room is a project I’m mentioning here for the first time, but revealing nothing yet. Suffice to say it’s all you will ever need to a create passive-income-enabled time abundant way of Life. Pre – register by clicking here to be notified by Email when I allow access to The Bootstrap Back Room
  • More than that, it’s the innovative thinkers like Colin Wright at Exile Lifestyle and Saffron Rainey, plus those artists, musicians, Iconoclastic Entrepreneurs and assorted Geeks you’ll see interviewed at Bootstrap Cafe that will fire your imagination and enable you to make your idea or your business Go Viral.

If you think you’ve seen promises, hype and posturing on the Internet before, you’d be right.

I spent a disproportionate part of five years reading multiple blogs on Minimalism, Business Optimization and Personal Development. Because I’ve built multiple micro businesses for over fifteen years using every Marketing method you can imagine, I’m no fool and could sort the hype from the realistically do-able. So I ended up reading only a few blogs on a regular basis, which is the way you will go eventually.

I’d like to think that I’m combining the best practice from the top bloggers in the World and expressing it in a meeting place that is neither niche focused on Business or Art, but rather a unique cultural mix of both.

And so, goodbye.

Only some of you will click these links to follow me to Bootstrapcafe.com or  contact me on Twitter

(For those of you who want to take a look, remember that you must focus on working with people you can really relate to, so do think before you connect with me).

So, my time here is done and my story until now is told. Thank you for your support and encouragement.

Here’s the problem. Working in a fixed office is bad for you.

Even if you work for yourself it’s boring staring at the same four walls; if you work for someone else who’s telling you what to do that compounds the feeling of entrapment.

I’m sitting in my local independent cafe writing this using my smartphone.

The majority of my income is passive, I have low overheads and contrary to the Global income trend my income and time out is steadily increasing.

I enjoy what I do and have the opportunity to try new ventures at low cost (less than ten pounds to start) at any time.

This is the New Rich economy. If you’re not a part of it and love your Life that’s ok. Conversely if you’re trapped, you can do something about it.
